CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns lower as materials reverse

TORONTO, June 2 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned lower on a reversal in the materials group as caution about the global economy took the steam out of an early rally.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE slipped 11.33 points, or 0.08 percent, to 13,516.55. Five of the index’s 10 main sectors were lower, led by a near 1 percent drop in materials. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
