CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises for 7th straight session

TORONTO, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index ended higher on Thursday after Toronto-Dominion Bank reported a higher quarterly profit and U.S. economic data added to investor optimism about recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially finished the day up 107.31 points, or 0.89 percent, at 12,111.09, its seventh straight session higher. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
