CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises broadly, resources lead way
TORONTO Nov 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, backed by commodity prices that firmed ahead of an expected decision by the U.S. Federal Reserve to pump more money into the U.S. economy.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 11.39 points, or 0.09 percent, to 12,676.20, then extended gains with resource shares leading the way. All 10 sectors were up. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
