CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on Canada jobs data
TORONTO, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose at the open on Friday, buoyed by January Canadian employment data that came in much stronger than expected even though U.S. figures showed lower-than-expected jobs growth south of the border. [ID:nN04126209] [ID:nN0366997]
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 2.84 points, or 0.02 percent, at 13.844.19 at the open.
