CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes down, resources weigh
TORONTO, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed lower on Thursday, as the heavily-weighted energy, materials and financial groups were dragged down by falling resource prices and disappointing U.S. economic data.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 84.32 points, or 0.63 percent at 13,311.67.
