TORONTO, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was marginally lower on Wednesday, as data that showed U.S. employers unexpectedly cut jobs in September was offset by slightly higher commodity prices.
At 9:33 a.m. (1333 GMT) the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 9.77 points to 12,488.23. It had opened up 1.96 points at 12,499.96. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
