CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as financial shares rise

TORONTO, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned positive at midmorning on Friday as financials gained in the aftermath of a bullish Canadian jobs report and U.S. employment data that offered some signs of hope for the economic recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 2.52 points at 13,314.19. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
