CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as materials rise
TORONTO, April 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive shortly after the open on Thursday as materials shares reversed earlier losses and offset weakness in other sectors.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 0.84 of a point to 14,203.49. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; editing by Peter Galloway)
