CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes down as resources slide

 TORONTO, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
closed lower on Tuesday, as investors took some profits and
mining shares retreated as metal prices fell from record
highs.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed down 25.34 points, or 0.19
percent at 13,250.67.
