CANADA STOCKS-TSX flat as rising oils offset weaker miners

TORONTO, June 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was little changed shortly after the open on Wednesday, turning positive briefly as sharply higher oil and gas shares offset weakness among miners.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 5.81 points to 13,288.73. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
