TORONTO, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main index finished higher on Friday as resource stocks were bolstered by stronger oil and metals prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially rose 89.66 points, or 0.72 percent, to close at 12,535.59. Eight of its 10 key sectors were higher. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; editing by Peter Galloway)
