CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on gold miners
TORONTO Nov 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose on Monday after hitting its highest level since September 2008 in the previous session, led by rallying gold miners, but weak energy and financial shares weighed.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 0.88 of point at 12,925.99. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney)
