CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns lower as financials weigh

TORONTO, May 9 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned lower on Monday in early dealings as softness in the financial group outweighed a recovery in commodity shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dipped 1.4 points to 13,565.12. Six of the index’s 10 main groups were up, although a 0.3 percent decline in financials helped to erase those gains.
