CANADA STOCKS-TSX slides further on economic worries
TORONTO Aug 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell 2 percent on Wednesday morning as commodity prices dropped sharply on persisting worries about weaker growth in China and the United States.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dropped 240.73 points, or 2.03 percent, to 11,597.56. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
