CANADA STOCKS-Stronger gold issues underpin TSX rally
TORONTO, July 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index reclaimed some of the previous session's steep losses on Tuesday, led by gains in gold mining issues.
Lingering worries about the state of the euro zone debt crisis kept gold miners aloft and led overall influential risers, but other sectors joined the rally after being beaten down earlier.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 54.32 points, or 0.41 percent, at 13,234.07. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
