CANADA STOCKS-TSX slides at open on weak resources
TORONTO Nov 12 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell hard at the open on Friday as commodity prices slid on fears of another Chinese rate hike and the ability of some euro zone countries to service their debts.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dipped 0.51 of a point to 12,934.23 in opening trade, then losses quickly accelerated to drop nearly 1 percent. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
