CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises with commodity-price rebound

TORONTO, May 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index edged higher at the open on Friday, bolstered by gains in commodity issues as prices firmed for oil and other key resources.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened up 6.13 points at 13,395.55. Seven of its 10 sectors were higher, led by gains in the energy and materials groups. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
