CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as China data spurs resources
TORONTO, July 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index opened higher on Wednesday, led by its resource groups as data showing China's economy grew faster than expected drew investors into equity markets.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 9.86 points to 13,243.93, then extended gains. Seven of the 10 main index sectors were up. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
