CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls on tepid U.S. economic data

TORONTO, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Friday after fresh data suggested economic growth in the United States, Canada's largest export market, remains tepid.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 2.80 points, or 0.02 percent, at 11,520.80. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
