CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher on commodities, China relief

TORONTO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed higher for a third straight session on Monday as resource issues rallied with commodity prices on relief that China did not raise interest rates despite soaring inflation.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 56.39 points, or 0.43 percent, at 13,295.86. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
