CANADA STOCKS-TSX surges to 2011 high, commodities shine
TORONTO, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index had its highest close of the year on Monday, as energy and mining issues lead a broad rally, helped by Chinese data that underscored the country's appetite for raw materials.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 144.01 points, or 1.05 percent, at 13,910.77.
