TORONTO, Feb 15 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index finished modestly higher on Tuesday, with gains among gold companies helping to offset declines among other miners.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 18.58 points, or 0.13 percent, at 13,929.35. Seven of the index's 10 main groups ended higher.
