CANADA STOCKS-TSX tumbles on Japan radiation fears
TORONTO, March 15 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened dramatically lower on Tuesday as Japan faced a potential catastrophe after a quake-crippled nuclear power plant exploded and sent low levels of radiation floating towards Tokyo.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 333.49 points, or 2.45 percent, to 13,285.70 immediately after the open. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
