CANADA STOCKS-TSX flat as Japan worry erodes commodity rise

TORONTO, March 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened little changed on Wednesday with resource shares lifted by a rebound in commodity prices, but with Japan's nuclear crisis and clashes in Bahrain still weighting on sentiment.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 0.61 of a point at 13,546.35, before briefly turning positive.. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
