CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends higher on stronger mining issues

 TORONTO, May 17 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
closed higher on Tuesday as mining shares, led by fertilizer
giant Potash Corp (POT.TO: Quote), drove the index higher.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 49.71 points, or 0.37 percent,
at 13,441.06.
