CANADA STOCKS-TSX at 1-month low after S&P cuts US outlook
TORONTO, April 18 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed at its lowest point in a month on Monday after Standard and Poor's cut its long-term outlook for the United States to negative from stable.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended down 96.79 points, or 0.7 percent, at 13,702.33, its lowest close since March 16. The index had been down more than 1.5 percent early in the session. (Reporting by John McCrank; editing by Peter Galloway)
