CANADA STOCKS-TSX rallies with commodity-price rebound

TORONTO, May 18 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index opened higher on Wednesday as a rise in commodity prices helped boost market sentiment.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 5.26 points to 13,446.32, then extended gains. Nine of 10 sectors were up, with materials up 1 percent. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
