CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops as sizzling China growth fans fears
TORONTO Jan 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Thursday after sizzling Chinese economic growth data fanned fears of tighter monetary policy, which weighed on commodity prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 9.54 points at 13,429.50, and then extended losses. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
