TORONTO, May 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index wasbroadly lower in early dealings on Friday as disappointing Canadian economic data and a negative outlook for U.S. shares weighed on sentiment even though oil and other commodity prices edged higher.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 31.40 points at 13,595.69 after rising a touch at the open. All 10 index sectors were lower. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
