CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends down on choppy commodities, data
TORONTO, March 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed lower on Thursday as volatile commodity prices and mixed U.S. economic data spurred a retreat from the previous session's rally.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 57.81 points, or 0.41 percent, at 14,029.37. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
