CANADA STOCKS-TSX lower on recovery fears; BMO weighs
TORONTO Aug 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index stumbled at the open on Tuesday as concerns over domestic growth and the global recovery pressured commodity prices, while results from Bank of Montreal BMO.TO disappointed.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 11.69 points, or 0.1 percent, to 11,706.94 at the open, and quickly extended its fall by more than 100 points. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
