CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as commodity stocks drop
TORONTO Jan 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed sharply lower on Tuesday, touching a two-week low as fears of weaker economic growth and higher inflation in major markets for Canadian resources stung energy and mining stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed 87.95 points, or 0.66 percent, lower at 13,259.63. (Reporting by Cameron French; editing by Peter Galloway)
