CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher on bank issues

 TORONTO, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
finished higher on Thursday as expectations for a healthy bank
earnings season, starting next week, boosted financial issues.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE rose 43.82 points, or 0.34 percent, to unofficially
close at 12,945.81 in a quiet session, with U.S. markets closed
for Thanksgiving.
