TORONTO, May 26 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Thursday, weighed down by bank results that came in slightly below expectations.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE slipped 44.24 points, or 0.32 percent, to 13,707.23. Seven of its sectors declined, led by a 0.9 percent drop in the financial group. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
