CANADA STOCKS-TSX edges higher in broad rally; banks weigh

 TORONTO, May 26 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
staged a last minute rally, led by energy stocks, though
disappointing bank earnings capped gains.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 24.43 points, or 0.18 percent
at 13,775.90. All but the financial sector were higher.
