CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls on resource selloff

 TORONTO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
closed lower on Thursday as easing precious metal and oil
prices dragged down its hefty materials and energy sectors.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE fell 55.55 points, or 0.41 percent, to unofficially
end at 13,410.20. Seven sectors advanced, but energy dropped
0.9 percent, while materials shed 1.59 percent.
