CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises at open on oil, gold prices
TORONTO, Sept 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ticked higher in early trade on Monday on firmer oil and record-high gold prices.
The resource-heavy S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 0.96 of a point to 12,205.85 at the open, briefly turned negative, and then rose again. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
