CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends down sharply as commodities weigh
TORONTO, March 28 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed steeply lower on Monday, falling more than 1 percent to a one-week low as commodity prices fell from recent lofty levels, driving down energy and mining issues.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended down 146.66 points, or 1.04 percent, to 13,892.73. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Rob Wilson)
