TORONTO, April 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index made a late-day dash higher on Friday as rallying resource issues overcame a plunge in BlackBerry maker Research in Motion RIM.TO.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially finished 50.39 points, or 0.36 percent, higher at 13,944.79. Nine of its 10 sectors advanced.
