CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns negative as gold miners weigh

TORONTO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned negative shortly after the open on Thursday as a decline in gold miners undermined a rise in other commodity and financial shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 0.01 of a point to 12,382.81. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
