CANADA STOCKS-TSX slips from 2-year peak as golds drag
TORONTO Dec 30 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index retreated slightly on Thursday after hitting a two-year high as gold miners declined and investors were hesitant to take on riskier bets before the new year.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 14.76 points, or 0.11 percent, at 13,434.41. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Rob Wilson)
