CANADA STOCKS-TSX rallies 1 percent on commodities, banks
TORONTO Jan 31 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was up 1 percent on Monday afternoon in a broad rally driven by surging energy shares and stronger financials and base-metal miners.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 134.76 points, or 1 percent, at 13,572.34. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
