CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens down on year-end profit-taking
TORONTO Dec 31 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Friday in thin New Year's Eve trade as investors booked profits after a recent rally that lifted the market to a two-year peak and the best December in five years.
