CANADA STOCKS-TSX jumps 1 percent on U.S. budget hopes

TORONTO, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index jumped
more than 1 percent at the open on Monday, led by material and
energy stocks, after U.S. lawmakers expressed confidence that
the U.S. fiscal crisis could be resolved.
    The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
 was up to 128.70 points, or 1.08 percent, at 12,006.46
in early trade.
