CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as resource shares drag

TORONTO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Canadian stocks ended lower on
Thursday as mining and energy stocks declined in line with
resource prices as investors turned their focus back to the slow
pace of progress in U.S. negotiations to avoid the "fiscal
cliff".
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
closed down 63.92 points, or 0.52 percent, at
12,289.17.
