CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends higher as financials offset dip in resources
TORONTO, July 29 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose on Monday after gains in the financial sector offset weakness in shares of energy and materials companies, which were hit by choppy commodity prices. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 21.14 points, or 0.17 percent, at 12,669.04. Seven of the 10 main sectors on the index were higher.
