CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as energy, mining shares weigh
TORONTO, May 28 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as shares of the heavyweight energy and materials sectors were pulled lower by weaker commodity prices. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 10.06 points, or 0.07 percent, at 14,647.96 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by James Dalgleish)
