TORONTO, June 4 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Wednesday as investors were disappointed by sluggish
U.S. private sector job growth and as a drop in the price of
copper dragged on the mining sector.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 29.45 points, or 0.20 percent, at 14,705.24
shortly after the open.
