TORONTO, June 9 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index ended higher on Tuesday, bucking a three-day slide as a bounce in the price of crude oil helped Canada's large energy sector, and financial stocks also rose.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 74.38 points, or 0.5 percent, at 14,817.71. Six of the index's 10 main sectors gained. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by Lisa Shumaker)
