CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens broadly higher as markets await possible Fed decision
TORONTO, June 17 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday, ahead of a U.S. Federal Reserve statement, with all 10 of the index's main groups making moderate gains.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index rose 35.23 points, or 0.24 percent, to 14,788.28 shortly after the open. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
